Silicone mold and hand casting KIT for family – 4 hands

You will receive step-by-step instructions to enjoy this relaxing activity, whether you bought this for yourself, for a friend or for the entire family. First step (STEP 1) is to make a 1:1 mold of your hand with ALGINATE silicone. Alginate powder is obtained from seaweed and can be used without contraindications in contact with the skin. It is mixed, with a mixer, with water, until a homogeneous paste is obtained (similar to pancake dough). At this point you have to put your hand in this paste and stay still for a few minutes (maximum 10 minutes) until the silicone hardens. Then you should gently remove your hand from the mold (you can use a hand cream with a thicker consistency, before putting your hand in the silicone) trying not to damage the mold. The second step (STEP 2) is even easier. The Acrylic powder have to be mixed with the Activator, also with a mixer. It is recommended that the Activator liquid be mixed in a container with the mixer, and the powder be added gradually. When the composition becomes homogeneous, pour it into the silicone mold and then wait at least an hour for the Acrylic resin to harden. It is normal for the silicone mold to be wet. Extraction of the mold from the mold is done by cutting the mold. This type of silicone can be used for a single casting. After the Acrylic resin mold is completely dry, it will have the texture of a plaster mold, but it will be white and will be much more resistant over time.

Care.
The Acrylic resin mold can be periodically cleaned with a damp cloth. It can be painted, is heat resistant (can be used to hold a candle) and is water resistant (can be used for plants)

The delivery is free and can be made in 2-6 hours in Bucharest and the surrounding areas or anywhere in Romania in a minimum of 24-48 hours, by courier. This time interval is only indicative, during busy periods like Christmas and 1st-8th March, orders may be delivered with a delay.

Our delivery schedule is M-F: 10:00 – 21:00, S-S: 10:00 – 19:00, in busy periods it can be extended.

Orders placed after 18:00 can no longer be delivered on the same day.
