Native to Sri Lanka, India and Taiwan, Ficus Ginseng is a wonderful plant that can beautify any well-lit interior naturally. Ficus Ginseng is an evergreen plant, prized for its glossy, vibrant green leaves and for its trunk that can take various shapes.

This bonsai, Ficus Ginseng, grows quickly and must be pruned from the first branches to achieve the desired shape. During the warm season, the plant can be placed outdoors, but should be protected from direct sunlight. The substrate for Ficus Ginseng should be well-drained, consisting of a mixture of peat and sand.

Care recommendations and information about Ficus Bonsai Ginseng

Light: Ficus ginseng prefers places with plenty of light, but indirect. In summer it can be kept outside but out of direct sunlight. The amount of light, but also the warmth, is directly proportional to the water given. A Ficus Ginseng bonsai kept in a cool area with indirect light will water and spray less. After defoliation (leaf loss) caused by excess moisture or negative temperatures, the Ficus Ginseng bonsai should be kept in a place with plenty of light.

Pruning: The purpose of pruning Ficus Ginseng is to maintain its shape. Branches and especially new, unsightly growth that deforms the crown should be pruned above a leaf where new growth is to be stimulated.

Watering: Water moderately, allowing the substrate to dry thoroughly between waterings. It is not recommended to submerge the pot as with most bonsai as excess water can cause aerial root rot. Spray the leaves as often as possible. Avoid stagnation of water in the potting mask by draining excess water after each watering.

Between March 1-8, both in Bucharest and in the province, we cannot guarantee the delivery date regardless of when the order is placed. Although we can process a very large volume of orders, during this period deliveries can be made 1-2 days late.
